In English 1117, I did think I would like them as much as it did. I usually do not like English classes, even in high school. The one thing I wanted in this class was blogging. For me, it was like writing a journal. This journal had a twist to it; it was other people would see it, not just me writing down my thought. I was excited to write about something that has had a back not only in my life but a lot of peoples. A couple of changes I had was making sure I did remember what happened that week and what has changed. One way I found how to remember to do it by setting a notation that I had to post, and I need to write down what happens every day.
I think with going all online classes that have helped me with reading about, and I had to understand what was happing in that class.
I feel more confident just writing do what is in my head on paper, and from there, I had to discard the error in it. I think my proudest mont is just keeping up in all my classes and not falling behind.
School is online for the rest of the year:
When we got the news that the schools are going to be online for the rest of the year. We have to make some changes to how we were going to do daycare and schooling with the kids. Since we are run throw the school, we can use a classroom right next door to the other rooms we have, so when it is time for the kids that go to school, they can do their homework and not be distracted but the kids playing. Its been interesting helping the kids with homework; it takes me back when I was young and shows me how much as changed since I have been in Elementary school.
Kids:
The kids are starting to get in the fellow of the schedule that we have there. We are getting more kids because some of the health care workers are going back to work, or they have a week on and the next week off. We are also getting more kids because the health care works don’t need to stress about the homework, so we do it.

May first, kids and I were playing outside, the front entrance of the school when the sheriff was driving by. The kids love to wave to them when they drive by. This time the sheriff stop and came up and walked up to the kids. He was so nice; he answered all the kid’s questions that the kids asked: He even showed them his car. The kids somehow convince him that he should bring in a treat and some badges for them on Monday. It was refreshing to have the sheriff to stop and play with the kids and answer all the kid’s questions.
Kids Numbers:
At the daycare, the kid’s number has been high and low—it kind of hard to plan the day out when you don’t have the kids. The teacher can have ten kids themselves, and the helper can have five themselves. Then the kid’s numbers are low. We don’t need to have the helpers in, so it’s all up to the teachers. We never no the number of kids going to be there, so there is always a helper on call.
Distance learning:
We also had to adjust to the distance learning with the kids. With long-distance learning, we had to change some of what we do with homework to help the kids absorb more than just looking at it and moving on from it. We also want to help out the families they already have plenty the worry about one less thing that they don’t have to do. Some of our kids are doing one and one zoom meeting with the teacher at different times. We had to figure out how to get some computer to help because the kids cant brings their parent’s computers. Seen we are in the school; we were able to ask the tech guy at the school to hook us up with some.
Overall view of the week:
We, as a daycare, are starting to get the following things. I would say the hardest thing was to adjust to the new kids learning what works for them and how they will react to certain situations. We had to bean the rules a little to let those kid live a bit like the kids were not allowed to play tag because they involved the kids touching each other, but the kids would play it. We just let them play it instead of them getting in trouble for it. It is the new normal we have to figure out what works for us and what also let the kids have fun still.
Coronavirus has changed a lot of our daily lives. Today, Schools closed, parents are working from home, and regular daily schedules no longer exist. Many parents are facing much more difficult decisions about whether to keep their children home from daycare and how to protect their children best if they do still require childcare services. Nannies and caregivers are facing their own set of uncertainties. With some parents now staying home with their children, they may be wondering how they’ll be paid or if they will even have a job when this is all over. I work at a daycare through Triton public school; The STAFFING: we had a meeting at work to get an understanding of what is going to happen at work. My boss found out that we must take in the kids that have an emergency responder in the family. We were not sure how many kids we would have; we schedule three girls in the morning from six to two. One other rule is not to have many kids in the same room, so we had to split them up for the different grades like Perk and kindergarten are in the first room second through third in the other and the older kids in the last place. We would bring in another person at 10 to give the other people a break and to help during lunchtime, then the closer would come in around two. That was one of our most significant changes because we also work with a lot of high school students, and they cannot work.
“Daycares should be reinvigorating and stressing their hygiene routines, reviewing with the children how to wash their hands properly, and going over physical boundaries and contact rules, stressing the importance of avoiding touching your face or that of another student,” Dr. Niket Sonpal.
My boss has to keep the parents up dayed on what is going on at the daycare like if one kid ends up getting pink eye, we have to send out an email and a paper copy to the parents for they can have heads up. Ooh, and don’t get me started on the CLEANING: we have to know. Usual we clean after the day is done with some Clorox wipes, but know we must go by “Deep Clearing.” Deep Cleaning is known ever time the kids use the iPad, computers we must wipe that off, ever chair is wiped in the room. Since we are in the school, the janitor helps us with s spry that we can use on the toys overnight that is safe for the kids. We also have bin bags, and they must be whipped down too; the dollhouse, kitchen stuff, and color marks must also be made. In general, with the daycares you will keep see all the changes in them to keep the kids safe. The rules will change the cleaning will change end the staffing will change. Throughout this hard time, we will just have to go with the roll, do not stress about the small thing but keep move along with them. We also must think of the kids and how they are thinking, how they are taking the change. The Coronavirus is something of our new normal and change with it.

When I think back to when my sister and I were growing up, I thought of myself more of a tomboy, like I wouldn’t wear dresses, shirts at all and I also shaved my hair short, where people called me a boy andMy sister was the polar opposite. She was the one dressed in pink and sparkling dresses and she would acted like she didn’t want to get dirty. Over the years, I still have some of my tomboy’s traits, but I have change slowing like I started to wear dresses. My sister on the other hand did change throughout the years.
When she was in middle school, she started to hang more with a girl in her grade, but I just thought it was a good friend of hers, but then I started to hear around the school that she was telling people that she was her girlfriend. I went home that night and was going to ask her; It’s not like I would disown her as my sister; I don’t care if she is gay. I wish she would have told me. I shouldn’t have found out by everyone else. I felt like when I was in middle school, my view of what a relationship was a boy and girl, But with today social media, celebrity’s showing that its ok to be in a relationship with a girl or a boy it doesn’t matter if they are gay or straight and even bisexual.
Now a days with social media and celebrities being a big influence on people lives. I would say that celebrities have a massive impact on young age kids because they are all over the news and on social media. Some celebrities are open about their sexuality. For example, Sam Smith is an English singer and songwriter. Sam Smith is one of the most famous and celebrated openly gay singers in the world. He says in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that he came out at a young age of four. Speaking of Ellen DeGeneres, she is also a gay celebrity, she “coming out” on an episode of “Ellen” airs in 1997, in a widely publicized episode of the ABC sitcom Ellen, TV character Ellen Morgan (played by Ellen DeGeneres) announces that she is gay. She has a massive impact on people because she has her show and talks about it with no problem. There is one celebrity that have been going through a time right know is Halsey. She has been an outspoken about being bisexual. One time she has written a twitter “So if I’m dating a guy I’m straight, and if I date a woman, I’m a lesbian. “The only way to be a #True bisexual is to date 2 people at once. “Just from this post her supporters and it has shown a different light on bisexual. Have been live by that and these are just a couple of good examples, but their are tons of celebrity that supports the gay community.
I believe that social media influences the growing in the ad’s agency; I see more and more gay couples. Not just in ads but also in article or another social media platform. The world is evolving slowly. More people are starting to agree with gay couples, but there will always be people that don’t agree. Even with people not accepting gay, bisexual but not about that it’s about them and how they should be able to live the life they want, and that why I’m ok with my sister dating whoever she wants. I will still love her,no matter what.
Hi, I’m Haylee Sawyer, so where I live in a small town called Dodge Center, Minnesota. I am in my 1st-year college at Rochester community and technical college. My major is child youth and family studies. I wasn’t sure what I want to do for sure what my major was going to be, but my senior year, I started to work at a daycare, and I loved it, and then I got more information about it.
I am a first-generation college student my dad co-owns a business in Iowa fiber splicing; my mom works at a daycare facility. In high school, I’ve always had trouble with it schooling in the journal of like of socializing. When it came time went to decide to go to college and continue my education, it wasn’t an easy decision because, in high school, I had some rough time with my grades and socialized. When making the decision, My dad was my biggest supporter in telling me that I needed to go that it would be a different experience, and it was a push that I needed to continue. When the Fall semester, I could already tell that I would like college better. I plan on continuing till I get my Degree in major, I also want to maintain it because I want to make my parents proud and be able to show my sister that she can go to college and have a better experience than you do at high school.
What are you thinking when you are reading the article well if you’re asking me some of the question cycles through my mind is how long is this article, and am I almost done. I’m pretty sure those are not the right questions that you should be asking yourself? In the article by mike Bunn, He had a section where the main point was called what the items that you should ask while reading. That has always been a significant thought in my mind because I know I do not have the right process while reading. Well, reading the section I got so imposing and what I should be doing it makes such sense. Some points that were like’s the article’s purpose and what is the effect that the language is the authors speaking in the report. It makes sense why you are trying to figure out the Author’s purpose because you want to understand the article at once the main point. When it says the figure out if the language authors writing and I think that’s a big part because it gives you more inside of the Author. Not just speak the language for the article you want to, you also want to pay attention to it where they got their facts and main point or to support their main points. After reading this article about how to read like a writer, just one section of it got more of my mind thinking of what I need to improve to be a better writer. How to read like a writer gave a lot of good examples of what can improve the way that you write and how to improve it yourself. But the central part for me was a what are the questions I should be asking myself for a while reading. It makes me think about how my writing needs to have flowed and how my sentences need to be set up where it flows with the rest of the article. If you want to improve the way you write I think you should really read the article how to read like a writer.
“Face to face, just you and me, with no rules. Just like you, I get lonely too (Drake)” I think this replays back to what Anderson said in the article, “primordial villages of face-to-face contact (and perhaps even these) are imagined.” Most people need some interaction with one another. Before the internet was there and all you had was a phone, and no one wanted to play, you would have to find something at home to do or going outside and ride your bicycle around the block but know a day we have our phones computer or whatever that has the web.
Face your fear
Face your fear Face to face is still a big part of the world today. Even if for a job you fill out a job application, you still must meet face to face with that person of you got a call tell you too. If you have a fear of something outside, you will still have to face it at one point or another. Just like in the movie Benchwarmer Howie thought the sun was a monster, he lived ina closet and talked thought the phone to get updates about the game instead of being there, but when he went out and faced it, he found out that it’s not a monster” It’s not a monster.” Just like Howie, some people are living through their phones on the internet or social media. That’s why the blogging network has become so big people that are alone, scared, or just bored go on there and see who else is in there or even live through it. Blogger has a hard time keeping up with all the changes the world is made or please their followers because more important better things come about, and they move one from it so fast. That why most of the bloggers that started blog earlier have given it up. Not all of them have given up. Some of them have evolved with the time where blogging is. It is just writing about it but video. That way, people feel like they are faced to face with that blogger instead of reading to match the look with the writing they can already see the face.

Focusing is hard to do while reading a long paper, articles, or even taking notes in class. I’m not the only one that has this trouble when you must learn an essay or material for the course, and it’s way too long that I cannot keep focus through the whole thing. I also use color pens to help me with just my schedule because I’m doing with school, sports, and working. Therefore, I think color pens are essential to everyday life, not only in the classroom. I think color pens are essential to everyday life, not just in the classroom. I use color pens for my family Schule like I’m blue and my sister is red, mom is green, and my dad is black. It’s color-coded because we are busy people and having many different things going on at some time as the other thing is, and my mom wants to know where everyone is. Not just my family Schule but mine too, with my classes and with playing a sport and working. That’s a lot on my plate, but if I didn’t have my color pens, I don’t think I would get thought it. If I didn’t write it down, I would miss homework or a test. I don’t want to sit because I missed practice and workouts. With work, if I missed work, then I don’t get paid, and if I don’t get paid, later I can’t pay for classes. I didn’t always know the power of what the color pen held. I discovered color pen my freshman year of high school. When I was a freshman, we got longer papers and articles then we have before, and I couldn’t get myself to focus, so that impacted my grades.one of my English teacher saw that my classes were going down they offer to help me. They helped me with picking out the main ideas, but I needed more to get what the paper or article was. This one time, I started to highlight and picked out the vocabulary word that I wanted to go back and look up the definition. I began to pick up that if I put parts that I didn’t understand or thought it was a good point that I could finish the paper or article. The color pens have helped me with studying for a test and being prepared for a test.Bright, bold, color full, that is what I think about when I use color pens. When you take notes in class, do you use just a pencil, or do you use different colors? For me, I will use more than just a pencil when I take notes. Why I think it is essential to have color pens. It’s crazy how just pens can change the way I think and how I use it in life. These are just a couple of reasons to use color pens, but I know that color pens, for me, are essential to have.
The license that I picked for my blog is copyright. I picked this one because I’m somewhat nervous about a person using the stuff off my blog without my permission. I know its not a full guarantee that someone wouldn’t use my things off my blog, but this still helps me relax. Another reason is, it seems like one I could have some clue of how it works then the others.
